Nicole Plummer is a Boston-based mezzo-soprano and recent graduate of the Maryland Opera Studio, where she received her Master of Music in Opera Performance studying with Delores Ziegler.

A native of Brookline, New Hampshire, Nicole this past season was seen as Dorabella in Così fan tutte and Frau Reich in Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor. In 2023 and 2024, Nicole was an Emerging Artist with the Seagle Festival, performing as Ada in Cold Mountain, Maria Luisa in With Blood, With Ink, Jean MacLaren in Brigadoon, and covering Stephano in Roméo et Juliette.

As a member of the Maryland Opera Studio, she premiered the role of Le Limbe in Orgullo and reprised the role at the Public Theater in New York City in September 2024. She received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and French from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, studying with Robynne Redmon, where she performed as Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro and La Soeur Cadette in Les Malheurs d'Orphée.

In July 2022, she was selected as a winner of the Mirabell Competition and performed in recital at the Schloss Mirabell in Salzburg, Austria. Most recently, she was awarded second place in the Wilkinson Young Singer's Fund competition and was a national runner-up in the NOA Opera Scenes Competition. Nicole is also active in the world of concert and choral singing; she was a two-year member of Seraphic Fire's Ensemble Artist program and has performed as the mezzo-soprano soloist in Matthew Coleridge's Requiem, BWV 214; Saint-Saëns' Oratorio de Noel; and Vivaldi's Magnificat. In the 2025–26 season, Nicole will be seen in recital as part of the Christ Church Concert Series in Alexandria, Virginia.

In the summer of 2026, Nicole will be joining Central City Opera as an Apprentice Artist.
